Arrive in Kochi in the morning and begin the scenic drive towards Munnar, covering approximately 130 km in 4–5 hours.
On the way, stop at Athirappilly Falls, one of Kerala’s renowned waterfalls, surrounded by lush forests and beautiful natural scenery.
Continue the journey towards Munnar, enjoying picturesque views of tea estates, waterfalls, forests, and rolling hills along the route.
Arrive in Munnar by evening, complete the hotel check-in, freshen up, and relax after the journey.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Thekkady, covering approximately 90 km in 3–4 hours.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Thekkady at a relaxed pace. You can visit a local spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s famous spices such as cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon.
Optional Activity: Enjoy an elephant ride, a popular Thekkady experience that offers an opportunity to interact with these majestic animals. Approx. ₹500–₹1,000 per person, subject to availability and local operator charges.
In the evening, you may choose to attend a traditional Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance at an additional cost.

Start your day with the famous Periyar Lake boating experience, offering an opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and spot wildlife around the Periyar Tiger Reserve.
After completing the activities, proceed towards Alleppey, approximately 150 km / 4–5 hours.
On arrival, board your traditional Kerala houseboat and begin cruising through the beautiful backwaters. Relax onboard while enjoying the peaceful waterways, lush landscapes, and village views.
Enjoy a traditional Kerala-style lunch, followed by evening tea and snacks. Spend the evening relaxing on the houseboat before enjoying dinner and settling in for an overnight stay.

Explore the famous giant Jatayu sculpture and enjoy the scenic surroundings. A cable car ride is also available for panoramic views of the area at an additional cost.
Continue towards Varkala and visit the famous Varkala Cliff, known for its spectacular views of the Arabian Sea.
Spend some relaxing time at Varkala Beach, enjoy the sunset, and explore the cafés, shops, and local atmosphere around the cliff.
Later, proceed towards Trivandrum and check into your hotel.

Start the day early for a visit to the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, which opens around 3:30 AM.

After breakfast, drive towards Azhimala Shiva Temple, home to the impressive 58-foot Shiva statue overlooking the Arabian Sea.
Continue towards Kanyakumari, the southernmost point of mainland India.

Team Captains’ Instructions: All participants are required to follow the instructions given by the Wandrcrew Team Captains. Their decisions regarding safety, logistics, and trip operations will be considered final.
Itinerary Changes: The itinerary may change due to weather conditions, local restrictions, traffic, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. Wandrcrew reserves the right to modify, rearrange, or cancel activities when necessary to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the trip.

Alcohol consumption is not permitted in public areas or locations where it is restricted by local authorities.
Swimming is permitted only in designated and safe areas. Always follow instructions provided by local authorities, guides, or Team Captains.
Do not disturb wildlife, damage plants, or cause harm to natural habitats.
Maintain silence and avoid loud music or disturbances after 10:00 PM at accommodations and houseboats.
Houseboat AC Timings: Air conditioning will be available from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

What is the fitness level required for this trip?
This trip has an easy difficulty level and is suitable for anyone aged 10 and above. You don't need any special fitness prep or prior trekking experience to join.
What is included in the package?
It covers return train journeys from Pune/Mumbai (if booked with that option), private AC ground transport, 6 nights of accommodation, 5 breakfasts, all houseboat meals in Alleppey, show entry tickets, and Wandrcrew captains. Personal expenses, transit meals, and optional activity tickets are not included.
What kind of accommodation will we stay in?
You'll be staying 6 nights on a triple or quad sharing basis: 2 nights in Munnar, 1 night in Thekkady, 1 night on a traditional Alleppey houseboat, and 2 nights in Trivandrum.

5 breakfasts are included during your stay, along with full traditional Kerala meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the Alleppey houseboat experience. Meals during train and transit journeys are not included.

If you book from Pune or Mumbai, your return train journey to Kochi is covered, including 2S tickets from Dadar to Pune for Mumbai folks. From Kochi onwards, private AC transport (SUV, Sedan, or Tempo Traveller) takes over for the group.

We keep our groups intimate and fun, with a maximum of 18 travelers per batch. You’ll be exploring alongside fellow travelers led by our Wandrcrew captains.
