Day1

Departure & Overnight Journey

Maharashtra

Board the bus from your respective city in the evening and begin your exciting journey towards Hampi.

Enjoy an overnight drive through scenic highways and lush green landscapes as you travel towards your destination.

Notes: Check the tentative pickup points under Pickup & Transport. Final pickup details will be shared in the WhatsApp group before departure.

Day2

Coracle Adventure & Anjanadri Sunset

Karnataka

Arrive at Hospet/Anegundi and check into the hotel. Freshen up, settle in, and enjoy breakfast.

Head towards Sanapur/Shivapur Lake for an exciting morning. Experience a unique coracle ride across the peaceful waters and try cliff jumping, subject to availability.

Enjoy a delicious local Veg Thali for lunch before proceeding towards Anjanadri Hills, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman.

Trek to the hilltop and witness a spectacular sunset along with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Return to the hotel, freshen up, and enjoy dinner. End the day with fun group games and quality time with fellow travellers.

Day3

Hampi Exploration & Journey to Badami

Karnataka

Wake up early, check out from the hotel, and load your luggage onto the bus.

After breakfast, begin Hampi sightseeing at around 7:00 AM.

Explore the magnificent Hampi Ruins, including:

  • Virupaksha Temple

  • Hemkuta Hill

  • Narasimha Temple

  • Krishna Temple

  • Elephant Stables

  • Lotus Mahal

  • Stone Chariot

  • Vijaya Vittala Temple

Enjoy a Veg Thali lunch during the sightseeing.

After completing the Hampi exploration, depart towards Badami and check into the hotel. Relax and unwind after the day's exploration.

Day4

Aihole, Pattadakal & Badami Exploration | Return Journey

Karnataka

Check out from the hotel and proceed towards Aihole, known as the cradle of Indian temple architecture.

Continue to Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its magnificent Chalukyan temples, including:

  • Virupaksha Temple

  • Mallikarjuna Temple

  • Other historic Chalukyan temples

Enjoy a Veg Thali lunch during sightseeing.

Later, visit the famous Badami Cave Temples (Caves 1–4), renowned for their impressive rock-cut architecture and intricate carvings.

Take a relaxing walk around Agastya Lake and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

After sunset, begin the return journey towards Pune.

Rules of the trip

  1. Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited throughout the trip.

  2. Carrying or consuming liquor inside the bus is strictly prohibited.

  3. Travel light and carry only a single rucksack or backpack. Please avoid trolley bags, sling bags, or multiple luggage pieces for your convenience and ease of travel.

  4. Do not litter during the trip or on trekking trails. Participants are responsible for carrying their waste and disposing of it properly.

  5. The decision of the Team Captains will be considered final in situations concerning the safety, discipline, and overall convenience of the group.

  6. The itinerary is subject to change. Wandrcrew reserves the right to alter, amend, or modify the itinerary or tour package before or during the trip due to operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be informed of significant changes as early as reasonably possible.

  7. During peak season, additional charges for AC Sleeper/Volvo buses may apply. Any applicable fare difference will be communicated to participants in advance.

  8. Changes & Cancellations: At Wandrcrew , the safety and comfort of our participants are our priority. Due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather, roadblocks, transportation issues, government restrictions, or other unavoidable situations, changes to the itinerary or cancellation of the trip may be necessary. In such cases, participants will be informed at the earliest possible opportunity.

How fit do I need to be for this trip?

The trip is graded easy and is suitable for anyone 5 years and older. You just need to be up for some relaxed walking around ruins, temples, and monument sites.

What is included in the trip cost?

Your package includes your selected transport, 2 nights stay, 6 meals (3 breakfasts + 3 lunches), guide and entry fees for Hampi and Badami, and a coracle ride. Wandrcrew Captains and basic first aid are also covered throughout.

What is the accommodation like?

You'll be staying for 2 nights in hotels (around Hospet/Anegundi and Ilkal/nearby) on a gender-wise 3 or 4 sharing basis.

What meals are provided?

We've got 6 meals covered during the trip: 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches. Dinners and personal snacks are not included, so you can explore local food spots on your own.

How do we travel to and during the trip?

Travel is arranged from respective cities by Non-AC Seating Tempo Traveller or AC Sleeper Bus, depending on what you pick. For Mumbai folks, sleeper train or cab tickets between Dadar and Pune (both ways) are included.

How big is the group?

We keep our batches small and fun, with a maximum group size of 18 travellers plus your Wandrcrew Captains.

How much does the trip cost and are there any extra fees?

The trip starts at INR 10,999 per person. A 5% GST is added at checkout, and there is an extra 2.3% processing charge if you pay via Razorpay.

What should I pack for this heritage trail?

Pack comfortable walking shoes, light and breathable clothing for monument exploration, sun protection, your personal medicines, and some extra cash for dinners and personal spends.
