Journey Begins from Pune & Mumbai
Begin your Kerala adventure from your respective cities. Mumbai: Board the train from Dadar Station at 5:00 PM. Pune: Board the train from Pune Station at 11:30 PM. Travel overnight towards Kochi.
Notes: Please reach the station well in advance, carry your valid train ticket and ID proof, and keep your luggage securely tagged. Ensure all valuables and essential belongings are safely with you throughout the journey.

Journey Towards Kerala
Spend the day enjoying the scenic train ride as we travel towards Kerala. Take this time to relax, enjoy the changing landscapes, and connect with your fellow travellers. Make the most of the journey through group activities, conversations, games, and shared experiences along the way.

Kochi Arrival & Journey to Munnar
Arrive in Kochi in the morning and begin the scenic drive towards Munnar, covering approximately 130 km in 4–5 hours. On the way, stop at Athirappilly Falls, one of Kerala’s renowned waterfalls, surrounded by lush forests and beautiful natural scenery. Continue the journey towards Munnar, enjoying picturesque views of tea estates, waterfalls, forests, and rolling hills along the route. Arrive in Munnar by evening, complete the hotel check-in, freshen up, and relax after the journey.
Stay: Munnar Hotel · Meals: Breakfast · Notes: Bathing facilities may not be available at the railway station. Freshening-up facilities will be available at the hotel in the evening.

Munnar Scenic Escape
Begin your day early, around 4:00 AM, for those who wish to experience the stunning sunrise from Kolukkumalai Peak. After returning, continue exploring the scenic attractions around Munnar, including: • Mattupetty Dam • Kundala Lake • Tea Museum • Echo Point • Top Station Spend the day surrounded by lush tea plantations, misty hills, and beautiful mountain landscapes before heading back to the hotel for a relaxing evening.
Stay: Munnar Hotel · Meals: Breakfast · Notes: A Kolukkumalai Peak Jeep Ride can be arranged from the hotel at an additional cost of approximately ₹800–₹1,000 per person, subject to availability. Prices may vary depending on the season and local operator charges.

Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Thekkady, covering approximately 90 km in 3–4 hours. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Thekkady at a relaxed pace. You can visit a local spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s famous spices such as cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. Optional Activity: Enjoy an elephant ride, a popular Thekkady experience that offers an opportunity to interact with these majestic animals. Approx. ₹500–₹1,000 per person, subject to availability and local operator charges. In the evening, you may choose to attend a traditional Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance at an additional cost.

Thekkady Experiences & Transfer to Alleppey
Start your day with the famous Periyar Lake boating experience, offering an opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and spot wildlife around the Periyar Tiger Reserve. After completing the activities, proceed towards Alleppey, approximately 150 km / 4–5 hours. On arrival, board your traditional Kerala houseboat and begin cruising through the beautiful backwaters. Relax onboard while enjoying the peaceful waterways, lush landscapes, and village views. Enjoy a traditional Kerala-style lunch, followed by evening tea and snacks. Spend the evening relaxing on the houseboat before enjoying dinner and settling in for an overnight stay.

Alleppey to Kochi & Departure
Wake up to the peaceful surroundings of Alleppey's backwaters and check out from the houseboat. Drive towards Kochi/Ernakulam Railway Station, approximately 1.5–2 hours. Reach the railway station and board your return train at around 3:00 PM. Your Kerala adventure comes to an end as we begin our journey back home.

Arrive back home carrying wonderful memories of Kerala's landscapes, culture, food, and experiences. Pune participants: Reach Pune by late evening. Mumbai participants: Reach Mumbai late at night.

Please avoid trolley bags and sling bags. • Cleanliness & Littering: Please do not litter at beaches, streets, tourist attractions, trekking trails, or any natural areas. Carry your waste with you and dispose of it only in designated bins. • Team Captains’ Instructions: All participants are required to follow the instructions given by the Wandrcrew Team Captains. Their decisions regarding safety, logistics, and trip operations will be considered final. • Itinerary Changes: The itinerary may change due to weather conditions, local restrictions, traffic, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. Wandrcrew reserves the right to modify, rearrange, or cancel activities when necessary to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the trip. This trip is rated easy and is open to travellers aged 5 and above. It is a relaxed journey focused on sightseeing, culture, and scenic stays, so no intense physical preparation is required.
What is included in the trip package?
You get round-trip train travel from Pune/Mumbai to Kochi, private AC transit in Kerala, 4 nights stay, houseboat meals, and entry to Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. A dedicated trip leader and basic first-aid support are also included throughout.
What kind of accommodation will we be staying in?
You will be staying for 4 nights on a triple or quad sharing basis across Munnar (2 nights), Thekkady (1 night), and a houseboat in Alleppey (1 night). Stays are comfortable and pre-arranged for the group.
What are the meal arrangements during the trip?
All meals on the Alleppey houseboat are covered, including a welcome drink, traditional Kerala lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner, and breakfast. Daily breakfasts are also included on sightseeing days in Kerala, while transit and other meals are on your own.
How do we travel to and around Kerala?
The journey kicks off with train travel from Pune or Mumbai straight to Kochi, including a 2S connection from Dadar to Pune for Mumbai folks. Once you arrive in Kochi, private AC transportation takes care of all group travel until drop-off.
